About Will Francis
by Dean Valler,
former Reporter/Journalist for 'The Times'
Will Francis is an incredible new folk/rock talent who is set to blaze on to the music scene in 2011/12. Will cites influences from Bob Dylan and Mick Thomas, to Paolo Nutini and Jack Johnson, and his song writing skills capture the imagination with a rare passion.
The grandson of a “Ten Pound POM”, Will was Australian born, has
travelled the world and now calls the UK home. Much of his
inspiration stems from his “student of life” approach and his
travels including South East Asia, snowboarding in Canada, road
tripping through the US, living in London and travelling throughout
Europe. A surfer at heart, Will's music brings out waves of emotion
that has already been appreciated by audiences the world over.
Be it in the pub, bar, club, festival stage or simply busking on the streets of Amsterdam, Wills music takes his audience on an amazing journey which could lead them anywhere from the banks of the Mississippi to the swirling surf on the coastline of his beloved homeland. Will has penned songs for a new generation.
A hugely talented songwriter, Will has commenced recording his laid-back, whimsical sounds and is looking to partner a publisher or fellow artist to help exploit them to their full potential. Find out for yourself the genius of this gripping new talent.
